Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Vegas Edge Fantasy Rankings ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you access or use our website at vegasedgefantasy.com (the "Service"). We take your privacy seriously and are committed to handling your information responsibly.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at [email protected].
1. Who We Are
The Service is operated by Joseph Kubachka, an individual residing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States. For purposes of U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we act as the "business" that determines the purposes and means of processing personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
Information You Provide Directly
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored only as a cryptographic hash, never as plain text).
- Payment information. When you purchase a subscription or Rest of Season Pass, Stripe collects your payment card details on our behalf. We do not store your full payment card number; we only receive limited information from Stripe such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, and expiration date for display purposes.
- Saved preferences and data. If you use account features, we store data you create within the Service, such as saved lineups, watched players, and scoring settings.
- Communications. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, the content of your message, and any attachments you send.
Information We Collect Automatically
- Log and usage data. When you access the Service, our servers automatically record information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used for security, debugging, and operational purposes.
- Session cookies. We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in during your session and to remember your preferences. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics).
- We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
- We do not collect precise geolocation data.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the Service, including account creation, login, and access to features you have paid for
- To process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe
- To communicate with you about your account, including receipts, renewal notices, trial expiration notices, payment failure notices, and cancellation confirmations
- To respond to your support requests and inquiries
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and violations of our Terms of Service
- To comply with legal obligations
- To improve the Service, including identifying and fixing bugs
We do not use your information to build profiles for advertising or to serve you targeted advertisements.
4. Marketing Communications
If you opt in by submitting your email through the signup form on our home page, we will use that email to send marketing communications about new features, in-season tool launches, new sportsbook integrations, and product updates. Submitting your email through this form is the only way we add you to our marketing list — creating an account does not opt you in.
- What we collect. Only the email address you submit, plus the date and time and the page where you signed up.
- How we use it. To send the marketing messages described above, no more than a few times per month under typical conditions.
- How we share it. We use Brevo (Sendinblue) as our email service provider for marketing campaigns. Your email is added to a marketing contact list within Brevo so that messages can be delivered.
- Unsubscribing. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. Clicking it stops further marketing emails. You can also email [email protected] at any time to be removed.
- What we do not do. We do not sell or share marketing emails with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not use this list for advertising profiling.
This section applies only to marketing emails. Account-related emails (verification, password reset, payment receipts, renewal notices) are governed by §3 above and are sent regardless of your marketing preferences.
5. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers. We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Service. These include:
- Stripe, Inc. — processes payments on our behalf. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.
- Resend — delivers transactional emails such as receipts and account notifications on our behalf.
- Brevo (Sendinblue) — delivers marketing email campaigns on our behalf to subscribers who have opted in via the home-page signup form (see §4).
- Cloudflare, Inc. — provides domain hosting, email routing, and DNS services.
These service providers are contractually or by policy limited to using your information only as necessary to provide their services to us.
Third-party data sources. The Service retrieves publicly available data from sources such as Sleeper, ESPN, and sportsbook operators. We send requests to these services to fetch player data, statistics, and odds. These requests do not include your personal information.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, subpoena, or governmental request, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or the public.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email or a notice on the Service before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
With your consent. We may share information with your explicit consent or at your direction.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Passwords stored only as cryptographic hashes (never as plain text)
- HTTPS encryption for all traffic between your browser and our servers
- Payment data handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor; we do not store full card numbers
- Access controls limiting who can view account data
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legitimate purposes such as:
- Responding to support requests and disputes
- Complying with legal, tax, and accounting obligations
- Detecting and preventing fraud
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time (see "Your Rights" below). Some information may be retained in backups or for legal compliance purposes for a limited period after deletion.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion — ask us to delete your account and associated personal information
- Opt-out of sale or sharing — we do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising, so no action is needed on this front
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
9. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you additional rights:
- Right to know what personal information we collect about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it. The relevant categories are disclosed throughout this Privacy Policy.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to opt-out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise your CCPA rights, email [email protected] with a description of your request and sufficient information to verify your identity.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete it.
11. International Users
The Service is intended for users located in the United States. Our servers, and the servers of our service providers, are located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those of your country.
We do not knowingly offer the Service to residents of the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data protection requirements beyond those of the United States.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the Service before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
